Junk Removal
Junk Removal in New York, Cleared in One Visit
We clear old sofas, mattresses, broken furniture and whatever has been living in the hallway closet, from walk-ups, doorman buildings, basements and storage units across the city. Our crew does all the carrying, so nobody has to drag a dresser down four flights to the curb.
Usable furniture goes to donation, and metal and electronics go to recycling, before anything goes to a transfer station. Send photos by text or chat for a price in minutes, or call (212) 555-0142.

Quick answer
How much does junk removal cost in NYC?
Most junk removal jobs in New York cost between $495 and $1,800, depending on how much there is, how many stairs it comes down and how it has to be disposed of. We use the same rate as our moves, $165 an hour for two crew and a truck with a 3-hour minimum, plus disposal fees at cost. From photos we can usually agree one price instead, with disposal included. If you’re moving with us, junk added to the same day costs only the extra time and the disposal.

Real reviews
Don’t take our word for it
They cleared out my late uncle’s apartment: an old couch, two dressers and forty years of magazines. They were kind about it, and they set aside a box of family photos they found in a drawer instead of tossing it.
We got a text at 7:40 saying the crew was ten minutes out, and they rang the bell at 7:52. Our 2-bedroom on the 4th floor was empty by noon, and they still rebuilt the bed frame at the new place before leaving.
They quoted 3 to 4 hours for my studio, it took 3½, and the bill was exactly 3½ hours at the rate they gave me. No stair fee, no fuel charge, no mystery materials line. I’ve moved four times in this city and that’s a first.

Junk Removal questions answered
Still not sure? Ask us. We reply in under a minute.
Chat nowWhat do you do with the things you take?
We donate what’s usable, recycle metal and electronics, and send only the rest to a transfer station. Electronics never go in the regular trash, because New York State doesn’t allow it.
Is there a minimum charge?
Junk-only jobs have the same 3-hour minimum as our moves, which is $495 for two crew and a truck. Junk added to a move with us costs only the extra time and disposal.
Is the city’s bulk pickup cheaper?
For one or two items you can get to the curb yourself, often yes, and we’ll tell you so. We’re worth it when it’s heavy, it’s up several flights or there’s simply too much for the curb.
Do you take mattresses?
Yes. Mattresses and box springs are wrapped before they come down the stairs and leave with the rest of the load.
Can you clear a storage unit?
Yes. We clear storage units, basements and building storage rooms. Tell us the facility’s loading rules and we’ll work within them.
How quickly can you come?
Often within a day or two, and sometimes the same day if a crew is nearby. Text us photos and we’ll offer the earliest slot.
