Office Moves

Office Moves in NYC, Done After Hours

We move offices, studios and small shops across New York on weekday evenings and weekends, so your team leaves on Friday and sits down at their new desks on Monday. We book the freight elevator and loading dock in both buildings and send each one the certificate of insurance it asks for.

Every crate, desk and monitor is labeled to your new floor plan, so it lands at the right desk the first time. Text or chat for a reply in under a minute, or call (212) 555-0142 to set up a walkthrough.

Quick answer

How much do office movers cost in NYC?

A small New York office move usually costs between $1,000 and $4,500, depending on headcount, floors and how much furniture has to come apart. Our base rate is $165 an hour for two movers and a truck with a 3-hour minimum, and larger office crews are priced per mover on your quote. Most office clients choose one agreed price after a walkthrough, so the budget is fixed before the weekend. The quote covers crates, labels, floor and elevator protection, furniture disassembly and the building paperwork.

Typical job · Example pricesMost 10–20 person offices moving within Manhattan or Brooklyn run $2,000–$4,500 over one evening or weekend. Small suites with five or so desks are often $1,000–$1,800. Full floors are quoted after a site visit.

How it works

Your office moves in three simple steps

  1. Walk us through it

Send a video or book a walkthrough. We note headcount, IT, furniture, and the elevator and dock rules in both buildings.

  2. Plan the move

You get an agreed price, a labeled floor plan and a crate drop-off date. We send the COIs and book the elevators and docks.

  3. Move and set up

Our crew moves after hours, sets every desk to the plan and does a final walkthrough with you before we leave.

Real reviews

Don’t take our word for it

Example reviews

We moved 20 desks out of our Midtown office on a Friday night and opened Monday morning like nothing happened. Luis had a floor-plan number taped to every desk, so the new space was set up before we walked in.

Daniel P.Manhattan · Example review

We got a text at 7:40 saying the crew was ten minutes out, and they rang the bell at 7:52. Our 2-bedroom on the 4th floor was empty by noon, and they still rebuilt the bed frame at the new place before leaving.

Sofia R.Park Slope · Example review

They quoted 3 to 4 hours for my studio, it took 3½, and the bill was exactly 3½ hours at the rate they gave me. No stair fee, no fuel charge, no mystery materials line. I’ve moved four times in this city and that’s a first.

Can you move out of business hours?

Yes, most of our office moves happen on weekday evenings or weekends. Many commercial buildings only allow moves after hours anyway, so we plan around their freight elevator schedule.

Can you move IT equipment?

Yes. We wrap and move computers, monitors, printers and phones on padded carts. Your IT person or provider disconnects and reconnects the network, and we work to their order.

What paperwork does my building need?

Most managed office buildings want a certificate of insurance with specific wording and a booked freight elevator or loading dock. Send us their requirements and we’ll handle both buildings.

Do you charge per hour or per job?

For offices we usually agree one price after a walkthrough, so your budget is fixed. Small suites can also go hourly at $165 for two movers and a truck, with a 3-hour minimum.

How far in advance should I book?

Three to four weeks gives time for the walkthrough, building approvals and crate drop-off. Smaller suites can often be moved within a week.

Do you use agency or day-hire crews?

No. Office moves are run by our own crew leads with our own movers, and where we can, the lead who did your walkthrough runs the move.

Can you take away furniture we’re not keeping?

Yes. We donate usable furniture, take electronics to a recycler and haul the rest on the same night, all priced on your quote.
