Queens movers
Reliable movers in Queens
Queens has every kind of building, and we move all of them: two-family houses in Ridgewood, pre-war co-ops in Jackson Heights and Forest Hills, and glass towers in Long Island City. From our Brooklyn base we reach Astoria and LIC in 25–40 minutes and Flushing or Bayside in under an hour.
Box trucks can't use the Grand Central or Jackie Robinson parkways, so we plan the BQE, the Long Island Expressway or the Van Wyck before the day. Call or text (212) 555-0142 and we'll answer in under a minute.

Quick answer
How much does a Queens move cost?
A Queens apartment move usually costs $650–$1,100 for a 1-bedroom and $1,100–$1,900 for a 2-bedroom, at $165 an hour for two movers and a truck with a 3-hour minimum. A 3-bedroom house usually lands between $1,800 and $3,000. Co-ops with set move hours, long hallways and busy shopping streets add time; driveways and ground-floor apartments save it. We can also agree a fixed price after a video walkthrough.

Why choose us
Why Queens picks Example crews
-
Co-op rules handled
Many Jackson Heights, Forest Hills and Kew Gardens co-ops set move hours and ask for a certificate of insurance and a deposit. We get the COI to your managing agent and book around the hours they give you.
-
Truck routes, not parkways
We plan around the parkway truck ban and rush hour on the BQE, so the crew arrives on time and you're not paying for traffic we could have avoided.
-
The right crew for houses
Two-family houses with shared driveways and basement storage need a different plan than an elevator building. We send a third mover when the job needs it and tell you why before the day.

Real reviews
Trusted across Queens
They quoted 3 to 4 hours for my studio, it took 3½, and the bill was exactly 3½ hours at the rate they gave me. No stair fee, no fuel charge, no mystery materials line. I’ve moved four times in this city and that’s a first.
Our closing slipped by two weeks, so they stored everything and delivered it the day we got the keys. Two weeks of storage cost us less than three nights in a hotel would have.
We got a text at 7:40 saying the crew was ten minutes out, and they rang the bell at 7:52. Our 2-bedroom on the 4th floor was empty by noon, and they still rebuilt the bed frame at the new place before leaving.

Job storyStudio Move: Upper West Side → Astoria
Noah messaged us late on a Monday night: his new Astoria lease had started and he needed to be out of his Upper West Side studio by the end of the week. We had a Thursday morning opening. The pickup was a 9th-floor studio in a doorman building with a service elevator; the drop-off was the 2nd floor of a two-family house in Astoria. We quoted 3 to 4 hours at $165 an hour, and it came in at 3½.
Job storyUpright Piano Move: Harlem → Williamsburg
Ruth was moving her family’s upright piano, about 500 pounds and older than she is, from her mother’s Harlem brownstone to her own apartment on the 3rd floor of a Williamsburg walk-up. The pickup meant carrying it down a brownstone stoop; the drop-off was three flights up a narrow stair with one tight turn. Marcus, our crew lead for piano jobs, looked over a video of the Williamsburg stairwell before we quoted, and we agreed a fixed price for the job.
Job story2-Bedroom Walk-Up Move: Park Slope → Hoboken
Mia and her partner were leaving a 4th-floor walk-up in a Park Slope brownstone for a 2-bedroom on the 3rd floor of a Hoboken row house, a few blocks from the PATH. They booked three weeks ahead for the last Saturday in August, one of the busiest moving days of the year, and packed nearly everything themselves. We quoted 7 to 8 hours with 3 movers, plus the tolls, and planned the parking at the Hoboken end before the day.

Queens moving questions
Still not sure? Ask us. We reply in under a minute.
Chat nowDo you cover all of Queens?
Yes. Western Queens, like Astoria, Long Island City and Sunnyside, is 25–40 minutes from our Brooklyn base; Flushing and Bayside are closer to an hour.
My co-op only allows moves on weekdays. Can you work with that?
Yes. We work Monday to Saturday from 7am and plan the load around the hours your building gives you, including the elevator reservation.
How long does a typical Queens move take?
A 1-bedroom usually takes 4–6 hours including the drive. A two-family house with a full basement can take a whole day with three movers.
Can you store my things between leases?
Yes. If your new lease starts later than your old one ends, we can hold your things in storage and deliver when you're ready. Ask for it when you get your quote.
